Your EASY guide to the legal system.
What is LegalEase?

LegalEase is an information source-an internet gateway of information. Legalese is a one-stop shop giving you the information you need about your legal system, your legal rights, lawyers, forms, judges, courts and the news. LegalEase is your source  for information through the Internet-LegalEase is an information gateway.

Tennessee is our home so we decided to make Tennessee the inaguaral state for the launch of this web service. Our goal is to provide you an easy guide to the legal system by being state specific. As LegalEase adds new states, we will continue in our effort to be a one-stop shop for information helping you to avoid the need to search all over the Internet for answers to your questions or to obtain information.

We are, additionally, working on providing you information about lawyers in your state-as we launch, our lawyer listing is being posted-these lawyers are board-certified lawyers and areas of certain specialties. Visit this site often as we continue to and lawyers to our list.

LegalEase is designed as a news and information source.  Our purpose is to give you information from news that affects your everyday life, and information about judges, courts, the law, and lawyers. From forms to asking questions, we want you to use the power of the Internet, the power of your computer, the power of your mobile phone to easily obtain information you need. LegalEase is designed to bring you information specific to where you live and work.

Remember, the legal system is more than judges, courthouses, juries, and lawyers.  The legal system includes the courts and the political branches of government-your city council, your state legislature, and your members of the United States Congress .  All of these entities have an impact on the law and, therefore, an impact on your legal rights. LegalEase is designed to provide important updates on what happens in your courthouse, in your state legislature, your city council, your Congress and your Senate.

In your state, and in Washington, DC, your elected officials change the law all the time.  A part of LegalEase is to give you updates on those changes, and let you know what is happening and how it will affect you. The courts and the elected representatives of your State, and of your country, have a direct impact on how you live.  LegalEase is designed to let you know what is happening in your legal system.

LegalEase, in part, is the Web M.D. (or should we say the Web J.D.) for the legal system, your easy guide to the legal system. Our "How Do I link" is designed to provide updates on issues such as "how do I choose a lawyer?"  Other updates will provide information dealing with "what happens if I get sued, I have insurance and will my insurance company hire a lawyer for me?"  We will also post updates on "Do I need it in writing from my lawyer" and "can I really get Congress to change the law?"  Visit us often, as we will offer new sources of information as we grow.

Browse the site, give us your feedback, and let us know what you think of this gateway to your legal system.
