Trial Transcrpit from a Slip and Fall Case

He argued that the mobile home park where the plaintiff lived was so unsafe with so many defects that the mobile home park owner must have known that the mobile home was unsafe, allowing the plaintiff to get stung.

The defense argued that the defect was known to the plaintiff, that the plaintiff should have known of the nail's existence because she lived in the mobile home for over six months. During the trial, the plaintiff and her daughter were caught in numerous inconsistent stories, which could lead a jury to conclude they were lying to recover a verdict. The defendant's attorney argued that because of certain lies that were told throughout the trial that there was a beehive of lies, and when you live in a beehive of lies you are going to get stung.
